Hey everyone!! WELCOME to my first post on my new website for temecula wedding photography!  I have been a wedding photographer in temecula for 3 years now happily photographing weddings at temecula wineries and estates. I’d like to share some tips and tricks for you fellow wedding photographers that I have learned over the years from photographing weddings in the Temecula Wine Country!

So to start things off I will share with you my favorite winery to photograph weddings at. Ponte Winery! It is sooooo beautiful and has multiple ceremony locations which makes photographing weddings at ponte much more exciting!  Wedding photographers sometimes photograph the same wedding venue multiple times a year so when having the option to photograph a wedding differently we take it!  Ponte winery has a lake side wedding ceremony site as well as a winery side wedding ceremony site. Both have their perks and I will go into details on all that later… but just to run over the main differences between the two really quickly… Ponte Winery side is typically reserved for larger weddings and the Ponte Hotel side is reserved for smaller weddings [guest counts of 80 or fewer]  This is primarily because all of the Ponte Hotel wedding receptions take place in the Ponte Winery Barrel room which has a max of less than 100 people. Its very intimate and a VERY cool setting for a wedding reception!  For larger weddings Ponte uses their banquet room located on the backside of the property and I have seen 200 + guests fit easily in there. Another important difference for us photographers photographing weddings at ponte winery is that winery weddings using the banquet ballroom are given the bride and groom cottage suites for getting ready in, where as the smaller barrel room weddings will usually see their brides and grooms getting ready at the hotel in one of their larger rooms. Personally I LOVE the cottage suites for getting ready because they offer the BEST light and are situated on the backside of the winery and allow for photographs to be taken without running into guests staying at the hotel. Lets face it, brides DO NOT want to be running into their guests before the ceremony!! They want to have that “WOW!” factor when coming down the aisle!

But enough about Ponte!! The greatest part about being a Temecula wedding photographer is that there are over 30 wineries in Temecula Wine Country to choose from!!  Each of them running multiple weddings a day!  On top of that each of them usually having a couple weddings a day! Each Temecula Winery has their own unique characteristics to them!  Its never a dull weekend being a wedding photographer in temecula with that many different wedding venues to potentially be booked at!!
